The Prayer for Peace includes prayers for peace within oneself, in relationships, in the nation and world, and with God. It includes time to pray for specific relationships, national and world situations, and peace-disturbing personal sins for which one seeks God’s forgiveness. It closes with the Lord’s Prayer and time to listen for God’s guidance as to what is best to do or think next to experience personal peace.
The video’s graphics show you which bead to hold in a set of Protestant prayer beads as the prayer session progresses. Audio gongs prompt you to move to the next bead, so you may pray with your eyes closed, if desired. Although this video is designed for use with prayer beads, it may also be used without prayer beads in hand.
